The USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park is a tribute to the country's underwater military history, utilizing museum exhibits and authentic artifacts to tell the service's fascinating tale. Based around the restored USS Bowfin submarine, launched on December 7, 1942, visitors can tour the sub, receiving an audio tour which highlights aspects of submarine life and service, look at real items from the submarine and its crew, including an undamaged Poseidon C-3 missile and the original 77-pound Bowfin's Bell. One of the many museums set at the Pearl Harbor base, other nearby attracitons include the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor and the Pacific Aviation Museum.
